Classes, Camps, and Programs The New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation and The First Tee Raritan Valley have expanded program offerings throughout the Raritan Valley region of New Jersey. Our chapter is now offering programs in Union, Morris, Hunterdon, Warren, Somerset, and Middlesex Counties. In 2010 we have added programs at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, and Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway to go with Tara Greens Golf Center in Somerset and Tamarack Golf Course in East Brunswick, NJ.
UNION COUNTY: This year we have added classes and camps in Union County at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, NJ. The Union County Freeholders have just completed the redesign of Galloping Hill and the facility now has many amenities to develop your golf game. Our chapter now provides classes and camps at Galloping Hill. PGA Professional Peter Bush and his staff help deliver our classes at Galloping Hill Golf Course. This course now has both a private and public driving range, a practice hole, practice putting greens, bunkers, and a 9 hole executive course to compliment its championship golf course. To speak with our Union County Program Coordinator - Kunal Chothani please call 848-250-9344 or e-mail kunal.s.chothani@gmail.com.
SOMERSET COUNTY: Tara Greens Golf Center is located at 955 Route 27 in Somerset, NJ. Tara Greens is our home facility and provides the greatest amenities for teaching golf. Tara Greens provides a 9 hole regulation course, grass hitting area, putting green, 9 hole pitch n putt course and mini golf course. PGA 2002 Teacher of the year Rob Schaal provides free clinics for our chapter here at Tara Greens. Our chapter offers many classes and camps at Tara Greens annually. Our chapter is partnering with Somerset County Parks and begin to deliver The First Tee classes at Neshanic Valley Golf Course in Neshanic Station, NJ. MIDDLESEX COUNTY: The chapter is proud of the partnership with Middlesex County Improvement Authority and the programs at Tamarack Golf Course in East Brunswick, NJ.
