Welcome to The New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation (NJYGF) and The First Tee of Raritan Valley. The First Tee or Raritan Valley mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. The First Tee Raritan Valley is currently expanding and developing programs with several new partners to reach more than 75,000 students throughout six counties of New Jersey by 2015. We currently offer program opportunities in Middlesex, Somerset, Morris, Union, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties of New Jersey. The First Tee program is seeking youth ages 5-17 to participate in the life skills experience, core values, and increase their golf skills. This chapter is operated by the New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation (Board of Trustees pictured above). The New Jersey Youth Golf Foundation is an official 501c(3) not for profit and was formed in 2007. The NJYGF is dedicated to providing The First Tee program for all students. The NJYGF annually provides financial assistance, programs, and scholarships. This chapter currently operates programs at a variety of locations to include: Heron Glen Golf Course and Beaver Brook Country Club in Hunterdon County, Tamarack Golf Course in Middlesex County, Flanders Valley Golf Course and The Golf Zone in Morris County, Basking Ridge Country Club and Tara Greens Golf Center in Somerset County, Galloping Hill Golf Course in Union County, and Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Warren County.
