Donations
The First Tee Raritan Valley is very grateful and appreciative of the great support that we continue to receive, but there is still much to be accomplished. Here is a photo from Baltusrol Golf Club with their recent donation of 6,000 golf balls to our chapter. Many private clubs and individuals donate golf clubs, golf shoes, golf balls, and other items that can be utilized by our students wishing to begin our program. If you would like to donate golf clubs, we accept sets of irons, metal drivers and fairway metals, putters, and wedges. Sponsor A Child
The First Tee of Raritan Valley is one of 204 chapters of The First Tee, a national organization widely recognized as delivering highly effective youth development programs. The First Tee provides young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop life-enhancing skills and values (Perseverance, Courtesy, Honesty, Judgment, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence and Responsibility), through golf and character education. The program is extremely disciplined, with detailed lesson plans truly balancing the development of golf skills with life and value lessons.
TFTRV delivers three six-week sessions (Spring, Summer and Fall) at four local golf facilities. Children five years of age through high school, from Middlesex, Somerset, Morris, Union and Hunterdon counties are served by these programs. We do not turn anyone away based on ability to pay. Currently, about 25% of our students require financial assistance. Thatʼs why we're reaching out and requesting that you assist with covering the cost to Sponsor a Child for one of the sessions (cost $75) or for an entire year (3 sessions cost $225).

Equipment Donations
Equipment donations are appreciated and are a great way to help this program succeed. Students in our program are in need of the following items: junior club sets, sets of irons, putters, wedges, metal drivers, fairway metals, and stand bags. Please drop off these items at our office or mail donations to our indoor facility at 411 Joyce Kilmer Avenue, Suite 8, New Brunswick , NJ 08901. If you need us to pick up your donation, please call our office at (732) 247-0819.

Why Give?
Your generous donation will help give a kid a chance to play one of life's greatest games. As you know golf is a very expensive sport. Many of our participants come from low to middle income families and cannot afford a set of golf clubs or golf bags. Please help give the gift of golf for one or more of our participants by donating your old clubs or golf equipment to our program. With our program recently expanding, we can use any and all equipment you could provide. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Each year we provide financial assistance to approximately 25% of our students that come from less fortunate families. . We are currently hosting our "Sponsor a Child" program to help provide funding for less fortunate children. Please help sponsor a child in our program. To sponsor a child for one season(6 classes) please donate $75. To sponsor a child for the entire year(3 seasons) please donated $225.
