Volunteers & Involvement The First Tee of Raritan Valley is always grateful to anyone who would like to volunteer their time. We welcome people who can help in all areas, including: administrative support, marketing, fundraising, grant writing, teaching, and coaching. PGA Professional Involvement The PGA New Jersey Section recently helped develop the National Schools Program in the New Brunswick and Plainfield school districts. Special thanks to Scott Kimiec and his staff at the PGA for their support with The First Tee Raritan Valley. The PGA New Jersey section will be helping to provide clinics for students, training for our coaches, and an all new after school program for local middle school aged children.
Several area PGA and LPGA professionals are volunteering to help teach classes and clinics with The First Tee. If you would like to help get involved in our PGA and LPGA program please contact Mike Blackwell at (732) 247-0819.
Barclays Event Volunteers Needed The First Tee Raritan Valley is helping to support the Barclays Playoffs the week of August 24-29, 2010 at Ridgewood Country Club. Our chapter is seeking volunteers to work any day for shifts that range from 6am-1pm and 11am-6pm. Volunteers are encouraged to register to help. Volunteers will be helping to serve food and drinks at the Barclays. Each volunteer will receive a free pass to the event, food for the day, and a TFTRV T Shirt to wear.
